This handcrafted nail was found during renovations to the house built by Simon FRASER circa 1840 at Helmsdale Farm, West Gwillimbury.

Round wooden tray with metal handle, wooden lid, three legs. Contains 35 communion cups - some cut angularly and some cut smooth. Each cup fits into a hole lined with fabric in the tray. the metal plate on the tray has an inscription that reads: "Toronto, Ont. -- LePage Individual Communion Cup Co. U.S. Pat. Nov. 5, 95. Can. Pat. Jan. 21, 96. -- Canada"
