              Description : "Former resident of Barrie. Thompson C. Fisher, who celebrated his 91st birthday last Wednesday [September 4, 1944], died in Toronto on Sunday. He had resided in Toronto for five years. Born at Bond Head, Mr. Fisher was a graduate of Upper Canada College. For a time he engaged in farming at Thompsonville and Ivy and later became associate with the insurance business in Alliston and Barrie. Surviving are two sons, Dr. R.E. Fisher, Toronto, and Dr. C.M. Fisher, Chicago, Ill."

Program co-ordinator Joyce Moisey said the picnic was a great success with more than 1,200 members taking part."

Gerald Sheppard of Bell Ewart Ontario in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Pat and dear father of Gerry and Darlene of Bell Ewart, Lorrie and Bill Jackson of Bradford and Dwayne of Bell Ewart. Loving Granddad of Daryll, Amanda, Gregory and David. Also survived by brothers and sisters Bernard, Shirley Walmer, Martin, Lee, Nina Wilcox and Roy. Rested at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday Dec. 18 at 11:00 a.m. Internment [sic] at Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto. Donations to the Canadian Cander Society would be appreciated by the family.
