Description : Bobby Brown, 9, of River Drive Park, died in the Hospital for Sick Children. His death was the result of injuries following a collision with a school bus that occurred on June 27 as he was excitedly riding his bicycle home to show his parents his report card on the last day of school.The accident occurred on the Sand Road at the rear of the Park Ave. School. He rode his bike into the path of a school bus driven by Mrs. Elva DeBruin who made desperate attempts to avoid him.Following the accident the youngster was taken to York County Hospital in Newmarket and later transferred to the Hospital for Sick Children.Funeral services for the boy were held last week and he was buried in Queensville Cemetery.
