Dr. F. C. Stevenson was born in Ancaster, Ontario. He attended King William's College, Isle of Man, in England, for four years. He then graduated from the University of Toronto in 1879 with the M.B. degree. The following year, he graduated from the Royal College of Physicians, London, England. He began practicing in Bradford in 1881.

This home was located next to the Lukes House, but no longer exists.
