Histories of the surrounding communities were added to the edition in honour of this event, and were contributions from the Women's Institutes. This article is a brief history of Fisher's Corners, located east of Highway 27 and 9th Concession.

Silas Harvey is seated with his son Herman standing to his left and son Henry to his right. Silas Harvey was the brother of Jesse Harvey. The Harveys lived at the southwest corner of Fisher's Corners.
