Another of the pioneer families was the Walkers. When the first Methodist church was being dismantled, the frame structure was moved and became the home of the Walker family on Concession 3. Elwood in buggy (crippled), George standing behind his two parents, Norman and Ida (mother of Roy, Orville and Irma).
