Looking northwest towards Bradford. Railway bridge on left. B.B. Doger, Bev and Airforce guys loading a 4 wheel drive army truck and camping trailer on scow to haul up to river to plane crash. The dock is where all hay was unloaded. Dodger is leaning on the pick-up. The boat behind the truck belonged to Marv. Shannon (it seated 6 people). He had marina boathouse (his home) off to the right of the truck.

RCAF bomber crashed on marsh in early 40's. Plane was not badly damaged as it plowed into muck B.B. Dodger Collings hired to jack it out and bring it to Bradford on scow. This is at the dock in Bradford. Tom Collings sitting on his dads boat, not that there are spaces between the slats on the boat. These boats were used to keep fish alive until people came to pick them up in tank trucks.

"Bradford Flour Mill Samuel Lukes" is painted on the side of this building which was situated on Holland St. East at Morris Rd. This mill was built in 1904, and could mill 300 barrels a day at maximum capacity.
