Robert was the son of Thomas Martin (1840-1919) and Elizabeth Martin (nee Lee) (1850-1936). Elizabeth Lee was the daughter of Thomas Lee (1794-1868) and Ann Lee (nee Graham) (abt. 1825-1903).

Description : Charles Wesley Jackson, only son of Mr. Richard Jackson, to Miss Ella McLean, youngest daughter of Mr. John W. McLean, of West Gwillimbury. The wedding took place at "Cedar Grove Farm". The ceremony was performed by Rev. H.J. Jackson M.A.
The straw stack at the Faris farm in the barnyard was a shelter for young livestock, a supply of bedding, and a warm spot for a rest on a sunny winter day.
