With Presbyterians from all over Canada opening their annual assembly today, the lad on the tricycle pedalled up on the sidewalk of Knox Church to inspect the banner on the front. He was greeted by Rev. R. A. Birnie, a native of Scotland, who has ministered at Duntroon, Ont., more than 20 years, and Rev. W. A. Hunter of Bradford for 38 years in the ministry. "My names Kenny," said the boy.

"The First Bradford Brownies served tea and cookies to about 70 members of the Gay Sixties senior citizens' club last week. Seven-year-olds Evelyn Schlarb and Libbie Evans did the honors for Lila Proctor (left) and Bertha Langford, both John street residents. The club's upcoming activities include a trip to Barrie on Saturday, a trip to Woodbine raceway July 7, and a picnic at Midhurst in August."

Mural celebrating the 200th Anniversary of Yonge Street, made in 1997 and restored in July of 2007. In 2007, the sesquicentennial of the Town of Bradford, a bubble noting this occasion was added to the mural by original artist, Bill Lewotchko.
