Banting, a former resident of Tecumseth Township and a native of Thompsonville, passed away suddenly at his home in Langstaff on Wednesday, August 17th, in his 70th year.Born at Thompsonville in 1886, the deceased was the son of the late James and Olive Banting. After moving to West Gwillimbury Township, he married Pearl Lowery, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Lowery of Tecumseth Township, who predeceased him seven years ago.Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. G. L. Issac (Helen), of Camp Borden and Mrs. J. T. Bradley (Dorothy), of Toronto.The funeral service was held in Trinity United Church, Beeton, on Saturday afternoon with Rev. W. G. Gardner conducting the services. Interment was made in Trinity United Cemetery, Beeton.
