Description : W. J. Geddie Fraser, a resident of Orangeville for some years, died on November 4, 1972 in his 83rd year.He was the son of the late John D. and Anne (McGeary) Fraser. He was born at Newton Robinson in the year 1890. There he attended school, later moving with the family to Alliston.As a young man, he entered the employ of the CPR Express Company for whom he worked until his retirement, being located in North Bay for many years. Since then he has resided in Orangeville.His parents and grandparents were early citizens of Bond Head and his grandfather, Rev. William Fraser, was a pioneer Presbyterian minister there for many years.He is survived by a brother, James Ernest, D.D.S. of Shaunacon, Saskatchewan, and a sister, Jean of Orangeville, also two nephews and a niece.Funeral services were held November 6 at the Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Scrivens officiating.Interment took place at Bond Head Cemetery.
