The following requirement are necessary...The Electricity Inspection Act provides a penalty of fifty dollars for any neglect in respect of the above requirements."

Description : Passed away in Beeton after being in failing health for some time. The wife of John Coburn, she spent her entire life in Newton Robinson or surrounding area. Interred in Wilson's Hill cemetery. The Rev. Blevin Atkinson conducted the service.

A highlight of the Beeton Centennial celebrations held last weekend was the mammoth steam and gas engine parade. Area steam engine buffs exhibited their machines in the parade. A float from Beeton senior citizens was also entered despite the inclement weather.
