Her fiance, Richard Wierenga, 22, of Bradford sustained serious head injuries. The couple was to be married April 18.Funeral services were held Monday in the Christian Reformed Church in Ansnorveldt, with both Pastor Max Lise of that church and Rev. Ainley Croft of Gilford United Church presiding. Burial took place at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Bradford.Wright was a secretary at Bradford District High School, and was very well liked by both staff and students.Susan was extremely popular and she was what I call a blithe spirit" said her uncle Eric Wright. "She was almost a counsellor to the kids at the school and was able to communicate very well with them."Pallbearers at the service were Carl and Albert Wierenga brothers of Richard; Dan Wright James Fowler and Brian Fowler all nephews of Susan Wright; and Robert Coulson also related to Wright."
