Charlie & Hannah Edney's Anniversary
Charlie and Hannah Edney celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. The Edney family farmed on Concession 11. From left: Flossie Jane Dales (nee Hounsome), Charlie Edney, Hannah Edney (nee Hounsome) and Gertie Holt Langstaff (nee Edney). Flossie was Hannah's sister and the mother of Earl Blossom. Gertie was Charlie and Hannah's daughter.

Home of Robert and Thomas Parker was built in 1826 in West Gwillimbury. The Parkers were Irish Palatines. Thomas was a captain in the Rebellion of 1837 and was reeve of West Gwillimbury township. He lived in this area until 1887, when he moved to High Bluff Manitoba where he died on September 29, 1889 at 90 years old. Robert was the father of Thomas Sutherland Parker, a doctor in Guelph, and William Robert Parker, a Methodist minister. Thomas S. Parker was a member of Parliament for one of the ridings of Wellington County from 1863 to 1872.
