Hermine Philipp, 74, of RR2 Newmarket, died Jan. 20, 1985 at York County Hospital. The daughter of Samuel Hagenauer and Karolyn Werderitsch, both of Austria, she was born Nov. 9, 1910 in Austria. She was married in 1929 inCalgary to John Philipp who predeceased her on Aug. 11, 1977. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Churh. Surviving are two daughters, Elsie,Mrs. M. Radis, of Newmarket and Hilda, Mrs. W. Kovac, of Cleveland, Ohio, oneson Hal, of RR2 Newmarket, fiver grandchildren and three great grandchildren.Funeral services will be heldtoday, Wednesday, jan. 23, at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Aurora with Paster Marvic Janz officiating. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.

Beloved husband of Eileen and dear father of Sherran (Mrs. George Breedon) of Bradford, dear grandfather of Laurie, Paul and Trish, dear brother of Glenn of Scarborough. Rested at Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford. Service was held in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Newmarket Cemetery.
