Carolyn Sproule, the first wife of Charles Watson. She lived from 1840-1870 and died at the age of 30. Charles and Carolyn had 5 children: Isabella (who married William Rowe), Mary-Anne (who married George Brown), Susan, Nelson and William John (who married Ida Banting).

Lyla (Elizabeth) Brown, daughter of Susan and Joseph Brown. Farmed in the Scotch Settlement. Lyla is unmarried.

Charles Banting, who is father to Ida Banting. Charles married Jane McDermott and together they had 5 children: Ida Jane, Anna Mary, Effie Jemima, Susan Bertha and Edith Amy. Charles lived from 1840-1921.

This photo is taken at James and Edith (nee Banting) Stewart’s farm in British Columbia. The children in the photo from left to right are Ruth Agnew, Donald Stewart and Rae Agnew, (Rae and Ruth are Annie and Robert Gordon Agnew’s children, Edith is their aunt). The men in the photo are unnamed, they could be Ronald Gordon Agnew and James Stewart.
