Letter is addressed to George and Hettie (Banting) Atkins and signed from Thomas Reynolds, Ellen Reynolds, E. J. Chapman and Catherine Chapman. Given to the Atkins at the time they moved from the community.

Owned by Norman Coutts (1903-2002), husband of Isobel Watson Coutts. He did not go to war due to a heart murmur and was raised on Concession 4, Lot 7 in West Gwillimbury.

Aunt Karolyn Watson (on the right), who lived from 1899 until 1951. Daughter of John and Ida Watson, sister to Charles, Jean, Isobel (Coutts) and Marion Watson. Other person is unknown.

Jean and Karolyn Watson, sisters. Both are daughters of William John and Ida Watson, who farmed in the Scotch Settlement. Jean lived from 1903-1997, and Karolyn lived from 1899-1951.
