Description : (Past President, Lions Club of Bradford) Suddenly at his residence in Bradford on Saturday, May 24, 2008. Ron Coffey in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Ann (Flanagan). Dear father of late Mary (late Ed) Jacques, Ken, Peggy (Robert) King, Rory (Sue) and David (Ida). Dear Poppa of Jennifer and David Jacques; Emily and Rebecca Coffey; Mary and Lawrence King; Kohn and Meghan Coffey, Justin and Alexandra Coffey. Dear brother of late Harry (Effie) Coffey. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Lathangue Chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment St. John Cemetery, Tecumseth. Donations to the New Cancer Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket of C.N.I.B. would be appreciated.

Description : Died after a lengthy illness at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, in his 88th year. Husband of Doris for 44 years. Beloved father of Suzanne, Luanne and her husband Michael Edwards. Loving grandfather of Laura and Alice. Son of the late William and late Marjorie Campbell. Nephew of the late Dr. Lewis Campbell. Lewis will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends called at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation. Funeral service was held in the Lathangue Chapel on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.

Wooden Carpenter's Ruler

Part of a wooden carpenter's ruler, made by John Rabone & Sons. Engraved is, "Rabone/Made in England/no.1176." This ruler would have been foldable. One half of the ruler and the joint are missing.

A metal and wood two-handled saw. It would be used for cutting wood in woodworking/carpentry.

A bevel gauge (also known as a sliding T bevel) made by STANLEY tool company, often used in carpentry. It swings, slides and locks into place, allowing an angle to be created that can be transferred.

Lawn Bowling Balls

Two lawn bowling balls. One engrave with "LHC" and the other with "W.L.C." One belonged to Dr. Lewis H. Campbell and the other to his brother William L. Campbell. Both were members of Bradford's lawn bowling club.

Six metal dog registration/tax tags from Bradford and belonging to William L. Campbell. Tags are dated for 1918, 1919, 1921, 1924, 1936, 1939.

Bradford Public Library Plaque

A plaque marking the building of the Bradford Public Library in 1962. The plaque is heavyweight and made of metal. It notes donors and the names of members of the Library Board at the time. The plaque was removed from the Library's John Street West location after it was decommissioned following the building of a new Library location at 100 Holland Court.
