Adair Farm - House

Adair house and driving shed. In later years beautiful gardens were developed where the chicken coop once stood. Cedar hedge in the background.

Crake Farm - Greenview

A stooke loader and crew at the Crake Farm on Highway 88 and the 10th sideroad. The wagon was pulled by horses down the field and stooked grain was put on the conveyor and loaded on wagons. Cliff Crake is the 5th man on the left in the back row.

Cronan Dairy Farm

The Cronan Dairy Farm in 1950 - The family continues to farm to this day. The barn was built in 1934 and first used by Joseph and Gertie Cronan's family.

Faris Farm

The straw stack at the Faris farm in the barnyard was a shelter for young livestock, a supply of bedding, and a warm spot for a rest on a sunny winter day.

Hay load on Faris Farm

Loose hay on the way to storage on the Faris farm. The way hay was handled before the pick-up baler arrived in the 1940's.

Hughes Barn

Barn on the (Roy, Orville) Hughes farm, the south half of Lot 1, Concession 2. The Hughes' farm shows two styles of barns. The early shed roof on the left and then the hip roof on the right barn (added in 1937).
