WEIR, NEIL - Suddenly at York County Hospital on Monday, May 4, 1998, Neil Weir of Bradford in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Lois. Dear father of Bob and his friend Doris, Norm and his wife Eilas, Patti and her husband Norval Botham, Maryanne and her husband Ted Bosnick. Dear grandfather of Rhonda Scott, Yolanda, Laurie, Dan and Christopher. Dear great grandfather of Devon. Dear brother of Jack and Blake Weir, Peggy Lawrie, Ruth Pike, Nancy McCowan and predeceased by Chess Weir. Friends called at the Lathangue & Shwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford. Service was held in the chapel on Friday, May 8, 1998 at 2 p.m. A masonic service was held on Thursday at 7 p.m. under the auspices of Simcoe Lodge #79, A.F.&A.M., Bradford, 19b.

Survived by one brother Norval (Patricia), Almonte, and his mother-in-law Margaret Kell, R.R. 1 Cookstown. Visitation at the Kerry Funeral Home, Almonte, then to the Rod Abrams Funeral Home, Tottenham, for visiting and service, Rev. Graham McLeod and Rev. Ted Colwell officiating. Interment in Cookstown United Cemetery. Donations made to the Canadian Cnacer Society, Almonte General Hospital or Lanark V.O.N. would be appreciated by the Botham family.

Rev. Gordon Elliot officiated. Preceding the bride were her three senior attendants: Patricia O'Sullivan, Guelph, maid of honour, Janice Burton, Bradford, and Karen Barnes, Schomberg. Mary Anne Weir, sister of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. Rhonda Weir, niece of the bride, was flower girl. The groomsman was Mr. Herb. Hastings, Schomberg, cousin of the groom and the ushers were Mr. Lloyd Botham, Schomberg, brother of the groom, and Mr. Norman Weir, Bradford, brother of the bride. Master Carl Hastings was the ring bearer. Mr. and Mrs. Botham will reside in Toronto.

BOTHAM-Albert Earl at his residence in Bond Head on Tuesday, August 1, 1989. Albert Botham, beloved husband of Gretta Cairns, loving father of Lloyd and his wife Irene, Norval and his wife Patricia, dear brother of Mrs. Edison (Isabel) Hastings of Tottenham, fondly remembered by his grandchildren Kevin, Brian, Laurie and Daniel. Rested at the Rod Abrams Funeral Home, Tottenham on Wednesday, August 2 and Thursday, August 3. Funeral service was held in the chapel on Friday, August 4 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mt. Tegart Cemetery, Tottenham. Donations in Albert's memory can be made to the York County Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or the VON.
