SHEPPARD, Gerald H. (owner/operator of Lake Simcoe Marine, Bell Ewart) after a lengthy illness at home, died peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Sunday, Dec. 15, 1991. Gerald Sheppard of Bell Ewart Ontario in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Pat and dear father of Gerry and Darlene of Bell Ewart, Lorrie and Bill Jackson of Bradford and Dwayne of Bell Ewart. Loving Granddad of Daryll, Amanda, Gregory and David. Also survived by brothers and sisters Bernard, Shirley Walmer, Martin, Lee, Nina Wilcox and Roy. Rested at Taylor Funeral Home, 524 Davis Drive, Newmarket. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday Dec. 18 at 11:00 a.m. Internment [sic] at Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto. Donations to the Canadian Cander Society would be appreciated by the family.

Sister of Gordon Madill of Newmarket and Bill Madill of Kitchener. Survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by granddaughter Heidi and brothers Percy, Wallace and Harold and sister Mae. Friends called at the Paul F. Kent Funeral Home, Cookstown, Tuesday and Wednesday. Funeral service was held at St. John's Anglican Church Cookstown on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Interment St. John's Anglican Cemetery. Frances Reid, a resident of Bradford West Gwillimbury for over 20 years, passed away suddenly at her home, Tuesday, July 24, at the age of 67.
Reid was elected to council in 1982, 1985 and again in 1988. . . .Reid was discovered Tuesday night by her only son,Walter. . . . Reid was predeceased by her husband Walter White Reid. Parents are Elaina and the late Michael Kachura and sister of Mary and Michael of Ottawa. Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home and a mass was held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Church. Interment was held at Notre Dame Cemetery in Ottawa.

Description : Earle James Edney, 30, of Newton Robinson, was killed Feb. 28 about 11/2 miles south of Bond Head on No. 27 Highway, while driving north. According to police, the right front tire blew out on the 1957 El Rancho (Ranch Wagon) he was driving and it left the highway and hit a tree ten inches in diameter. Mr. Edney worked for Cecil Maynard of Schomberg garage. Mr. Edney is survived by his wife, the former Arlene Sturgeon, of West Gwillimbury, and two children, Jean 5 and Jimmy 4; his mother, Mrs. James Edney of Newton Robinson, and nine sisters, namely, Charlotte (Mrs. W. Birch), Toronto; Annie (Mrs. W. Madill), Bond Head; Laura, Toronto; Treva (Mrs. W. Agar), Beeton; Marjorie (Mrs. M. Connery), Weston; Ina (Mrs. J. Ainslie), Richmond Hill; Pearla (Mrs. G. Piggott), Rexdale; Doris (Mrs. R. Mills), Scarborough; Jean (Mrs. N. Staynor), Islington. Mr. Edney was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, Bond Head. The funeral was from the Hughes Funeral Home, Cookstown, on Monday afternoon, with interment in Newton Robinson Cemetery. Coroner Dr. G. L. Blackwell of Bradford has ordered an inquest which will be held in Bradford Town Hall at 2 p.m. on March 15, 1963.
