Description : Mrs. S. E. Nelson, the former Marjorie Laura Black, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Wilson Black of Stroud, died in her 49th year at San Diego, Cal., after a lingering illness.A graduate of Toronto General Hospital, the late Mrs. Nelson, served with the Canadian forces in England, Africa and Italy as a Nursing Sister during World War II. She married Mr. Wilson in Oregon, where she was nursing, a few years ago.Besides her husband, Mrs. Wilson is survived by a sister, Mrs. E. D. Beynon (Hester), Flint, Mich., and a brother, Elmer W. Black, of Barrie.The funeral service was in Barrie on Jan. 13. Pallbearers were William Young, Clifford Webb, Clarence Kneeshaw and Lloyd Kneeshaw, cousins of the deceased, and Wilson Black and Paul Black, nephews. Interment was in St. James' Cemetery, Stroud.
