A sewing exercise book that was owned and used by Lulough Kneeshaw (nee Latimer).

"I interviewed Edgar & Lulough not long after we moved to Bond Head. Edgar was easy with telling his stories, Lulough not so much..." "Lulough Kneeshaw (nee Latimer) was born March 6, 1897. She grew up on a farm north of Alliston, Lot 17 Essa & Tosoronto [Tosorontio] within earshot of Camp [Borden] where sometimes in the early morning she could hear drums and bugles...She married Edgar Kneeshaw on [January] 7, 1920. The couple lived in West Gwillimbury for a while before moving to a farm, a few miles south of Bond Head. They had one son, Keith. Lulough attended a business school in Barrie. She worked at a flour milling company in Bradford." "My thoughts about the sewing book. Lulough was a married lady when she decided to sew. She was likely working in Bradford at the time and had access to the high school where she could have taken night classes."
"Lynn Elizabeth Rodgers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rodgers of Bond Head, graduated from Toronto Western Hospital Campus of George Brown College, July 24. Lynn will be joining the nursing staff of Toronto Western Hospital."
Synopsis: Age: 73 years, 9 months, 26 days. Born at Old Castle, County Meath, Ireland in 1817. Emigrated to Canada in 1819, and settled on lot 24, concession 5, Tecumseth. Married Margaret Sutherland of West Gwillimbury, and they moved to lot 4, concession 6. Widowed, and married Miss Sharpe of King Township. He had a daughter who married Ingham N. Sharpe, and now lives in West Toronto Junction. Died of a paralytic stroke. Interred at St. John's Cemetery, Tecumseth.

The funeral service was held at Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford on Tuesday, September 15, 1987 at 2 o'clock p.m. Interment at Bond Head Cemetery. An edited compilation based on written notes by Gladys Anna Isobel Watson (known as Isobel Watson) of Watson's life. Edited and Compiled by granddaughter, Michelle Joyce. Includes 12 page transcript, Cover Page and Reproduction of the Marriage Certificate of Norman Blain Coutts and Gladys Anna Isobel Watson. Watson was born July 14, 1907 on a farm located in West Gwillimbury at Concession 4, Lot 7 to William John Watson and Ida Jane Milligan Banting. Isobel married Norman Bhain Coutts and raised with him five children: Duncan, Roderick, Karol Anne, Brian and Sharon. The oral history was transcribed in November 2007, shortly before Isobel's death.

The New S.S. # 5 West Gwillimbury School at Bond Head. This building was erected on the same property just south of the 80 year old school. The one-classroom brick structure, built by Contractor Wilfred Halbert from Thornton had windows all along the side facing the road. The students and teacher, George Pocock moved from one school to the other at the beginning of February 1954. An additional classroom opened on January 3, 1955 with Dawna Herard as the firs teacher.
