Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair MacDonald of the Scotch Settlement celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary last Saturday. Friends and relatives honored the couple at a fine get-together.

Another of the pioneer families was the Walkers. When the first Methodist church was being dismantled, the frame structure was moved and became the home of the Walker family on Concession 3.
