Smith Natural Resources Educational Centre last Wednesday. The centre is located on the ninth concession east of Highway 11. The 600-acre conservation area will be used to teach students from separate and public school boards about flora and fauna of the surrounding forest.

MP George Taylor (PC Simcoe Centre) limped into Bradford (literally) Monday to officially open his area campaign headquarters. Edith Cutting presents Bradford's oldest citizen Walter King with a plaque commemorating his 95th birthday last week. Mrs. Cutting and Mr. King helped found the Gay 60s senior citizens club several years ago. The club was jammed with members last week helping Mr. King celebrate the occasion.
Barbara Jean G. Coutts, daughter of Mr and Mrs. John M. Coutts of Cookstown has received her Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University, Hamilton, Miss Coutts will attend Hamilton Teachers' College in the fall.
