Mayor Roy Gordon and New Council Sworn in at Inauguration
Bradford's 1977-78 council was sworn in at a ceremony at the community centre Monday evening. New Mayor Roy Gordon accepts the gavel from retiring mayor Joe Magani. Mr. Magani said he thought the gavel was given to him personally, but found out by reading the inscription that it was donated to the town.

The Meadowview Barn being torn down. This barn was located on the west side of Highway 11 just past the intersection of Barrie Street and the 8th Line and it backed on to Gardiner Dr. in the new subdivision on the 8th Line.
The May Tea and Bake Sale was the last social event to be held in the Loyal True Blue Hall by Senior Citizens of the Friendship Club. Club meetings and events have been held at the hall for 24 years. In the future events will be held at the new Senior Citizens' Centre on Blake Street.
