Vita Caietta in her 27th year, beloved daughter of Andrew and Maria, dear sister of Josie and her fiancé Dino Ascenzi and the late Rosa, dear granddaughter of Bosa and the late Frank Caietta, Vita and Antonio Ingoglia. Also survived by many aunts and uncles. Friends called at the Lathangue and Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradnford. Funeral MAss was held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, Bradford, on Saturday, January 25, 1992 at 10:00 a.m., Entombment - Holy Cross Cemetary [sic], Thornhill.

Description : In loving memory of Grace Emily Batchelor, beloved wife of Thomas Batchelor, who passed away July 16, 1940 - sadly missed by Tom, Jessie and Rosie.

This structure had a drive shed at the rear for stabling horses while the congregation attended church. The seating capacity was 125. The building had a simple 3-bay rectangular plan with a steep-pitched gable roof. Exterior buttresses and corner turrets (in lieu of a main spire) accentuated the sense of height. The symmetrical layout had a central aisle and an elevated pulpit and sacrament tables located at the front of the church. Large Gothic windows had vertical feature elements and pointed arch tracery. There was also a rose window. The large central entrance had an arched transom above. Solid brick masonry construction rested on a random field stone foundation. This building was demolished in 1957. The replacement church has a larger seating capacity. (3)

DEBEST, John (Jan). After a short illness, at his home in Bradford, on Tuesday, June 21, 1988, John deBest in his 54th year, beloved husband of Enny (Van Rij), dear father of Brenda and Terry West. Loving son of Alida deBest Bosman and the late Jan deBest, dear brother of Lenie, Maartje, Lynie, Willie, Kees, Nico, Jo, Dik., Piet, Alice, and Sam. Dear son-in-law of Tina vanRij and brother-in-law of Kees VanRij and Jan vanRij. Friends called at Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Street, Bradford. Service was held at the Newmarked [sic] Christian Reformed Church, 333 Davis Dr., Newmarket, on Friday, June 24, 1988 at 2:30 p.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. In memoriam, donations to the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC) would be appreciated.
