Bradford Public Library Book Plate
Parte deLocal History Artifacts
A book plate with black calligraphy style writing, one of many done by Ian Reid.

In town, he recited 'Ode to a Haggis' on Robbie Burns Day in one of the local pubs at the time, which I attended. He was known in the library as the Patron who did all the calligraphy for our book plates. If any family made a donation to the library in the form of a memorial, or just purchasing books for the library, Ian Reid graciously on his own time made these book plates which are prominently displayed in the books..."
