He had spent his entire life in this area assisting farmers and working at various occupations.He is survived by his second wife and one son, Norman of Gilford, and four grandchildren; two brothers, Fred of Newmarket and Charlie of Aurora; and five sisters, Miss Violet of New Toronto; Maggie, Mabel, and Edna of U.S.A., and Miss Elizabeth of Bradford. Funeral service was held from T. Kilkenny & Son funeral home, Bradford. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.Pallbearers were Geo. Morton, Jas. Everitt, T. Morning, L. Saint, J. McLean and F. Miller.

From childhood until the time of her marriage she spent holidays and weekends at the home of her uncle, the late Samuel Jelly. She married Cyril Harris in Toronto and moved to Glen Souris, Manitoba, where she was active member and organist at the Presbyterian Church. She was also a valued member of the Ladies' Aid and W. M. S.Mrs. Harris is survived by one son, Kenneth, and one daughter, Irene. Her cousin, William Jelly of Bradford, attended the funeral service which took place in Brandon. Interment in Brandon cemetery.
