Description : Clarence Edmund Button of West Gwillimbury passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, on April 18. Mr. Button had suffered a heart attack in June of last year, after which he had had to rest, and on March 22 he entered Sunnybrook Hospital, where he had two more heart attacks, before his death.Mr. Button was born in the village of Clareville, where he lived for many years, later, residing in Woodbridge and Thistletown, before coming to the Cookstown district to farm, he drove a milk transport for a time from Edgar to Toronto, before going to work at the RCAF station at Downsview twelve years ago.He was a member of Pinkerton Anglican Church and was a veteran of World War I, serving overseas in France and Germany with the 4CMR's.In 1920 he married Ada Robinson of Clareville and she predeceased him in 1945. In 1946 he married Ellen Clara Fish of Toronto, who survives him , together with four sons, John James and Le Roy of Toronto, Charles Edmund of Cookstown and Robert Clarence of Bradford.Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Weston.
