Beloved husband of the late Lorna Dixon, dear brother of Doreen (Mrs. Wilmot Markson) of Schomberg and William of Bradford. Dear friend of Ella Langford of Bradford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Street, Bradford. Service was held in chapel on Tuesday, February 27, 1990 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Bond Head Cemetery. Donations to York County Hospital Foundation, Newmarket, or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Match near Alliston, where they served a special low-priced turkey dinner to almost 1,000 people daily.Fifty Bondheadians contributed voluntary help each day. Mrs. Earl Jessup looked after all the gravies, while Mrs. Jim Bateman made uncounted gallons of tea and coffee.
