The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. S. McEwen, the bridal couple standing under an arch of evergreen and white decorated with bells. The bridal chores was played by Mrs. Lorne E. Neilly, sister-in-law of the bride. After receiving congratulations, the guests numbering thirty sat down to a delectable wedding dinner. The groom's gift to the bride was a handsome cheque, to the organist an ivory set. The presents were both numerous and costly, including a number of cheques, showing the high esteem in which the young couple are held. The evening was spent in games and social intercourse.
