Description : Died at the Goddard Nursing Home, Keswick, after about four years of failing health.Born at Middleton, 85 years ago, the daughter of the late Robert Stoddart and Sarah McConkey, on the farm now owned by the Harvey family, Mrs. Armstrong attended Middleton and Bradford schools. In 1892 she married the late William Armstrong at Bradford and for a time they lived at Newton Robinson before moving to the Newmarket area.She was a member of the Presbyterian Church where her chief interest was in the Sunday School.Mrs. Armstrong is survived by three sons, Albert of California; Elton, reeve of King Township; and Arleigh of Newmarket.The funeral was held on July 5 from the chapel of Roadhouse & Rose, Newmarket. Rev. Meredith conducted the services and interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.The pallbearers were John W. Bowser, Sr., David Doan, Robert Lewis, Earl Toole, James Otton and Joseph Greer.
