Beloved daughter of Grace Simpson and the late Archie Simpson of Gilford, dear sister of Mary Dawe (Harvey), Albert Simpson (Shirley), Alice Ritchie (Lawrence), Ronald Simpson (Joan), Diana Davey (Roy), George Simpson (Margaret), Ruth Verrips (Dick), Elsie Visser, Robert Simpson (Julie), Kenneth Simpson (Marianne), Shawn Simpson (Diane), Patrick Simpson (Sandy), Heather Simpson, Sheila Visser (Rick), the late James Simpson and Tim Taylor (Joanne). Gladys was loved by 72 nieces and nephews. She will ever be remembered by many children in Foxboro whom she babysat. Funeral services were held at the McConnel Funeral Home, Madoc, Ont. on August 19, 1989 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Eldorado Cemetery, Eldorado.
