BEREZNICK, Nick - Suddenly at his home in Bradford on Wednesday, April 21, 1993, Nick Bereznick in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Pearl. Dear father of Linda and her husband Henry Krawagna of Scarborough, Bernice and her husband Murray Arnold of Beeton. Dear grandfather of Brenda and Edward Krawagna and David Arnold. Friends called at the Lathangue and Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford. Service was held in the chapel on Tueday, April 27, 1993 at 2 p.m. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.

Description : Age: 74 years, 5 months.Born in Mohill, County Letrim, Ireland, and came with his parents to Canada when he was seven.They first settled in Lloydtown, and then Bond Head, where the deceased spend twenty years of his life, first in the hotel business, and then as a merchant.He then settled in Bradford in 1864, and farmed and ran a shop, which his sons now do.Had nine children: six sons - William and John predeceased him, James, Elder, Walter and Briton; and three daughters - Mrs. Rev. Wass, of Brantford, Mrs. J. McL. Stevenson, Esq., of Barrie, and another.Interred at Mount Pleasant.

Boddy, Lana L. peacefully at er home at RR2, Bradford on Tuesday, May 7, 1991 Lana in her 12th year. Beloved daughter of Russ and Louise. Dear sister of Les. Dear granddaughter of Norma and the late Jack Boddy, Marie and the late Laurent Muise. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St. Brdford. Service was held in the Chapel on Friday, May 10, 1991 at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. Donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.

Description : Bohoniuk, 25-year-old Ukranian, of Toronto, was drowned in the Holland Marsh irrigation canal, at the point where the canal skirts the rear of Mr. J. W. Wilson's farm. He had arrived in Bradford two days before and secured work with Anglo del Zotto and F. Bollsanelo, market gardeners. Having finished work, he decided to bathe in the canal. When he did not appear for supper, a search was instituted, police were called, and eventually his body was found in about nine feet of water. The body was removed to the undertaking rooms of T. Kilkenny & Son, Bradford. Coroner Dr. J. A. Cummings did not feel that an inquest was necessary.The brother of the dead man had the body removed to Toronto for burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
