Description : Collier Street United Church, Barrie, was the scene of an interesting autumn wedding on Saturday afternoon when Ella Louise Hurlburt, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Hurlburt, Barrie, became the bride of Dr. Ray Harold Judge of Bradford, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Judge of Moscow, Ontario. Rev. Prof. K. Cousland, Toronto, assisted by Rev. K. Cousland, Toronto, assisted by Rev. E. E. Long of Barrie, performed the ceremony.The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of bridal satin, fashioned on long lines, with cowl neckline, long tight-fitting sleeves, and long scalloped train. Her veil of tulle was in cap effect, and was caught with a band of gardenias and orange blossoms. The bride's two sisters attended her, Mrs. Charles Carbin, Toronto, wore claret velvet with matching hat and carried Johanna Hill roses, and Miss Frances Hurlburt wore brown velvet with matching hat and carried yellow roses. The groom was attended by his brother, Mr. Floyd Judge. The ushers were Mr. Charles Carbin and Mr. Reginald Woodruff, Toronto. Mr. Lloyd Tufford, organist of the church, played the wedding music and during the signing of the register, Mrs. H. J. Heath, Barrie, sang.Following the ceremony a reception was held at The Pines" the home of the bride's parents. During the reception Miss Betty Oram Toronto sang. Dr. and Mrs. Judge left on a motor trip to New York and other points the bride travelling in a rust boucle suit with brown coat hat and accessories."

The bride and groom were unattended, the bride wearing her travelling costume, a navy blue tailored suit with accessories to match and a corsage of roses. Mr. and Mrs. Jacks will make their home in Schumacher, Ontario.
