Excerpts relating to Bond Head and Bradford Libraries from Angus Mowat's journal. Mowat was the first Inspector of Public Libraries for Ontario, a position he held from 1937 - 1960.
Statistics for the Bradford Public Library for 1976. The stats cover acquisitions, withdrawls, circulation and holdings. The total circulation for the Library that year was 42, 858 books.

"Ian Reid was a resident of West Gwillimbury before Bradford amalgamated in 1991. He live on the 11th line of WG. He was a very popular citizen, always dressed in his Scottish kilt and accessories for anything festive or celebrative. In town, he recited 'Ode to a Haggis' on Robbie Burns Day in one of the local pubs at the time, which I attended. He was known in the library as the Patron who did all the calligraphy for our book plates. If any family made a donation to the library in the form of a memorial, or just purchasing books for the library, Ian Reid graciously on his own time made these book plates which are prominently displayed in the books..." Part of a collection of woodworking tools and items owned by Walter Reeves and Joseph Mark (Mark was original spelling before it changed to Marks). Reeves was Bradford Town Constable and Mark was a railway worker. Donated by their grandson, Bill Marks.
A page listing members of the Bradford Lawn Bowling Club in an account and minute book of theirs. The club was founded in 1909 and William L. Campbell was a founding member.
