Dear daughter of Elaina and the late Michael Kachura. Dear sister of Mary (Mrs. Ronald McAinsh) of Ottawa and Michael of Ottawa. Friends called at Lathangue and Skwarchuk Funeral Homes, 30 Simcoe St. Bradford. Funer MAss was held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, Bradford on Friday July 24th, 1992 at 10 a.m. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa. Donations to the York County Hospital Cardiac Care Unit.

Marriage
On Saturday, December 19, 1992 Michelle Lee Douglas, daughter of Tony and Anne Douglas of Schomberg, Ontario was married to Brian Norman Mills, son of Norman and Beverely [sic] Mills of Gilford, ON at Churchill United Church.
The happy couple were married by Rev. Cliff Pendlebury in an old-fashioned Christmas setting complete with carolers and candelight. The attendants carried Christmas bouquets of red, white and green. The reception was held at the Barrie Civitan Centre followed by a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.

"Suddenly as a result of an accident on Tuesday, March 27, 2001. Kyle Andrews, in his 41st year, of RR6 Aylmer, formerly of Bradford. Beloved husband of Carol, loving Daddy of Katie and Ezra. Loving son of Barbara of Bradford and Harold of Haliburton. Dear brother of Debbie and Ron Vink, Dianne Andrews and friend John Keast. Shawn and Michelin Horner. Dear son-in-law of Don and Shirley Campbell. Special uncle to Rebecca, Cor, Nicholas, Chad and Owen. Dear nephew to Earle and Madeline Bowles. Memorial Service was held at Straffordville United Church, Saturday, March 31.
In expression of sympathy donations would be appreciated to the Katie & Ezra Trust Fund at the Scotia Bank to Acct. 0219886, Transit #86082.
A Memorial Gathering in Kyle's home community to celebrate his life will be held at the Institute Hall in Newton Robinson on Sunday, April 8th from 1:30-4:00 p.m. A memorial will be given by Rev. Logie at 2:30 p.m."

Faris, Robert & Alice/Alvina McAfee wedding

Extended marriage description: "At Barrie on Dec. 3rd, by Rev. D.D. McLeod, Miss Alvina Moss McAfee and Mr. Robert Faris, both of West Gwillimbury, were united in marriage. The bride was attired in a beautiful suit of drab broadcloth and blouse of white taffeta silk, the yoke being overlaid with embroidered white chiffon and draped with white chiffon and sequin trimming. She wore a black silk velvet hat with tam crown of white silk overlaid with black sequin, white mohair and black chenille, and trimmed with large black and white plumes. The bride was waited upon by her cousin, Miss. Myrtle Stewart, as bridesmaid, who wore a dark blue cheviot cloth suit and blouse of shell pink liberty silk, trimmed with cream chiffon and sequin applique. Mr. Edgar J. Evans acted very ably as best man for the groom. After a sumptuous wedding breakfast, the happy couple took the evening train south for Toronto and other places, accompanied by Miss Stewart and Mr. Evans as far as Bradford. The groom's gift to his bride was a beautiful crescent set with pearls and three stars of turquoise. The bridesmaid's and best man's gifts from the groom were a gold bracelet and necktie pin. After the honeymoon trip the young couple will reside on the farm formerly owned by Mr. Thos. Hamer, near Bradford, and purchased about a year ago by Mr. Faris. The correspondence wishes the newly-wedded pair lifelong happiness and success."

Description : Husband of Sadie Saint and father to Mrs Harvey Marks (Dorothy) died in his home after a seizure from thrombosis. Mr Reeves was a Town Constable for Bradford. He was born in England and moved to Bradford at 13. Member of the Bradford lacrosse championship team of 1908-09. Rev. H.G. Blake conducted the ceremony and interment is in St. Pauls' Cemetery, Coulson's Hill.
