Description : Died at York County Hospital, after several years of failing health and a recent eye operation. Husband of the late Edith Phillips. Brother of John and Christopher Lee of Bradford. Born in West Gwillimbury to a pioneer family. Was a farmer on Highway 27 until he sold his farm 28 years ago, after which he moved to Bradford and sold farm implements. He had sold this business a year before his death. After his wife died he sold his home on Church St., buying a home on John St. from his brother, Mr. John Lee, to be nearer his business. Rested at home. Funeral on October 18 at 2 p.m. Service in Trinity Church at 2:30 p.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Coulson's Hill. Masonic auspices.

Dear mother of Mary andher husband Charles Gibson of Barrie, Peter and his wife Ena of Thornton, Muriel and her husband Walter Reynolds of Bond Head, and Kenneth and his wife Jean of Bradford. Pre-deceased by son Douglas. Sister of Laura Hartman of Sarnia. Predeceased by brothers Willie, Russell, Reg and sister Vivian. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Paul F. KentFuneray Home (Hwy 27 north) Cookstown on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church Bond Head on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery Coulson Hill. Carl Melbourne of Holland Landing and formerly of Sharon, Ontario in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Ruth Thompson, dear father of Bonnie (Mrs. Joe Haas) of Bradford, Carol (Mrs. Greg Parker) of Georgetown and Debbie (Mrs. Chris Bergin) of Bond Head. Dear son of William and Gertie Melbourne. Dear brother of Anne (Mrs. Harry Sparling) of London, Ontario, Joan(Mrs. Vincent Lackimia) of Sepulveda, California and the late Ross Melbourne and his wife Hilda. Dear grandfather of Jessica Parker, Allison, David and Anne Bergin. The funeral service was held at Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford on Tuesday, September 15, 1987 at 2 o'clock p.m. Interment at Bond Head Cemetery.
