Faris died on Sunday, January 18 at Columbia Hospital, Milwaukee after a two-week illness of a heart attack and stroke, at the age of 75.He and his wife Evelyn resided at their residence in Cedarburg since 1948. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in September 1979.Clarence was born in Bradford, Ontario on December 13, 1905, the son of William James Faris and Sarah Ellen Nesbitt Faris.Survivors are his wife Evelyn of Cedarburg, son Jim (Shirley) of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; daughter Jean (Mrs. David Lawrence) of Fond du Lac; 5 grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Faris (Debbie), Dale W. Faris, Lee J. Lawrence and Linda J. Lawrence, all of Fond du Lac, and Diane (Jim) Friedrich of Oshkosh; two brothers, Gilbert of Nobleton, Ontario and Wilfred of Bradford; two sisters, Dorothy Constable of Parry Sound and Mildred Halbert of Bradford.Clarence was a member of the Retirees Club of Wisconsin, Electric Power Co. of Milwaukee.Complete funeral services were held Wednesday, January 21 at 8 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home, Grafton, Wisconsin, with Rev. Lowell Bartel of the Cedarburg
Community Methodist Church officiating. Interment by cremation at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee.
