Description : The death of Mrs. Arthur Fell of Bradford, which occurred at the Private Patients' Pavilion, Toronto General Hospital, on Monday, November 30, was most unexpected. Mrs. Fell had undergone a major operation on Saturday most successfully and was apparently recovering satisfactorily. About two hours before her death she spoke to her husband here on the telephone, assuring him that she was feeling fine and urging him to stay at home because she was all right. Heart failure was the cause of her death.Mrs. Fell, whose maiden name was Mary Amelia (Minnie) Cull, was a daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Sutton Cull. Mr. and Mrs. Cull grew up in Bond Head but moved to Toronto and Mrs. Fell was born in that city. She spent her early life in the city where she married Arthur Fell, who survives her. After the death of their uncle, the late Mr. Wm. J. Sutton, in February, 1936, Mr. and Mrs. Fell moved to Bradford and took over Mr. Sutton's business and the Sutton home, where they have since resided and where Mrs. Fell handled the wallpaper part of the business. In her dealings with the public she made many friends and was very highly esteemed among them.Business absorbed much of her time and her intimate friendships were largely among her neighbours. She was a good wife, a good neighbour, and a highly respected townslady.A member of Trinity Anglican Church, she was always ready to lend assistance to all women's work in that church. As well as her husband her only sister, Mrs. Edith Baker of Toronto, survives her.The funeral was held from the family residence on Wednesday afternoon with Rev. W. S. Johnston, assisted by Rev. F. G. MacTavish, conducting the services. Interment was in Bond Head Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. Mel. Waldruff, Wm. F. Compton and Harvey Curry of Bradford and Percy Flemming, Howard Plow and Norman Marsh of Toronto.
