Plaque by the Bradford West Gwillimbury Local History Association:
"This cast iron base and impeller were components of one of the two original water pumps installed in the 1928 Holland Marsh Drainage Scheme. The pumps would lower the water level by four to five feet thereby draining the water out of the marsh and allowing the marsh lands to be dried and cultivated. The two pumps could each lift 20 000 gallons per minute from the reservoir over the dam. The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury assisted in developing the water fountain. George Holancin, local metal sculptor, created the winged blue heron. This piece won Top Honours for Floral Displays as part of the Communities in Bloom Ontario 2006 program."
Two water rate schedules. The first a schedule of water rates for Elmvale, outlining the cost of water for various places and uses, c. 1918. The second a schedule of water rates not including dwellings for unmentioned place, undated.
Correspondence between Bradford (representatives, clerk) and interested parties in an old no longer running factory, dated 1918. Correspondence relates to insurance, sale and use. Building belonged to Watson Specialties Limited (company owned by William Stoddart) and was seized by the Village of Bradford for non-payment of taxes. One of the interested parties was W. H. Thornton.
Charles Watson Sr., whose first wife was Carolyn Sproule with whom he had all his children with, and whose second wife was Sarah McKeeman- with whom he had no children.
Dorothy Watson (nee Scott), wife of Charles Watson Junior. They have no children. Dorothy and Charles Junior farmed on the homestead for many years but gave it up.
This portrait is of Herbert E. Watson, a dentist of Bradford. An article with a short biography accompanies this picture. It notes his dentist office was on the upstairs of the Kilkenny block of Holland Street, meaning his office was beside the Kilkenny Furniture store.

Description : Laura Winnifred Young, to Dr. Herbert E. Watson. The wedding took place at "Algonquin Lodge" Bradford. The ceremony was performed by the father of the bride Rev. Egerton R. Young assisted by the bride's brother Rev. E. Ryerson Young and Rev. J.A. Long Ph.D. The couple will live in Preston.
