Mr. and Mrs. Parrish had one son, George, who went overseas with the R.A.F. in the autumn of 1917 at 17 years old and was killed as a Ft.-Lt. in the R.A.F. in January 1918, shortly after his 18th birthday. Mrs. Parrish lived in Caledonia until 1942, when she moved to Toronto. Aunt of Mrs. S.S. McKenzie, Bradford, and Mrs. H.W. Crosbie of Toronto. Great-aunt of Robert Walter Crosbie and sister-in-law of Mrs. Edith McDowell, all of Toronto. Funeral took place from Miller's Funeral Chapel, Caledonia, on December 28. Interment in Caledonia Cemetery.
