Father of Brian of Toronto, Nancy and her husband Arvid Alle of Sturgeon Falls and the late Terry. Grandfather of David and Krisjan Alle. Brother of Clifford of Winnipeg, Clara Peterson of Winnipeg, Eunice Emerson of Arizona and predeceased by Colin of Boston and Frank of Winnipeg. Educated at St. John's College in Winnipeg, Arthur practised as a Chartered Accountant in Winnipeg, Montreal and with Coppers and Lybrand (formerly McDonald, Currie and Co.) in Toronto, before joining Gulf Oil Ltd. in 1948 as Chief Internal Auditor until his retirement in 1972. Visitation and service at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford. McKay, of Oro. Her deceased siblings, who lived on the 12th concession, were William Currie, Mrs. William Jelly, and Mrs. John O'Donnell.Sarah and her husband, John Greenfield, lived on the 12th line until 1870, when they moved to St. Vincent Township, and then Mudge Bay, Manitoulin Island.There son, William, with his new bride, died on Sept 14, 1882, when they went down with the Asia.Some facts were corrected in the Sept 6 edition.
