Description : Dorothy Evangeline Hipwell, 70, of 200 Holland Court, Bradford, died September 27, 1984, after a lengthy illness at York County Hospital, Newmarket. Daughter of Ernest Hipwell and Mary Kate Acheson, she was born in Manitoba on May 12, 1914.Wife of the late Ted Hipwell, she is survived by her son Reg and his wife Gladys Hipwell, of Bradford, step-mother Phyliss, Neepawa, brothers Norval, Toronto and Justin, Neepawa, and grandchildren Mark, Kimberly and Sherri Lyne. She was predeceased by sons Bobby and Jimmie.Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe St., Bradford. Funeral services were held in the chapel on Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. Interment Bond Head Cemetery.
