Description : Following a long illness, Mrs. Winnifred Morton of Willowdale passed away in Toronto General Hospital on August 17, 1962.Born in Bradford 46 years ago, Winnifred Peters, the late Mrs. Morton spent her girlhood here, where she will be remembered by long-time residents. During more recent years she has been a visitor in town at the home of her sister.Surviving are four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. John Campbell and Mrs. A. Dow of Bradford; Mrs. Lillian Reade, Toronto; Mrs. Doris Barnes, Guelph; William, Robert and Ernest Peters of Newmarket.A member of the Anglican Church, the funeral services at the Lathangue-Kilkenny Funeral Home on August 20 were conducted by Rev. Oldham and interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.The pallbearers were Tom Campbell, Gordon Campbell, Fred Dow, James Church, Kerry Peters, Douglas Turner.Flower bearers were Claude Courville, Lloyd Dow, F. C. Cook, Bruce Shipley, Thomas Woolven.
