Firey Meteorite Seen By District Residents
Fait partie de Local History Collection
"The blazing meteorite which cut a fiery path over Eastern Canada and the United States on Saturday night, frightening or thrilling thousands of people, was seen by many residents of Bradford and district. Dr. Peter Millman of the National Research Council , Ottawa, said the meteorite may have been a fragment of a planet that broke up millions of years ago and, if so, it probably had been orbiting the sun until it crashed through the earth's atmosphere."
