Description : Passed on to his heavenly home at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, of Maple Farm, Bradford where he lived all his life. Beloved husband of Ruby (Strasler) for 59 years. He was blessed with children Susan (Ronald) Black of Ottawa, Allan (Heather) of Bradford, and Jean (Richard) Swagerman of West Hill. Dear brother of the late Gordon (late Kay and late Doris) Faris and late Lieutenant Keith Faris. Dear grandfather of Rebecca (Trevor) Cullen, Ruth and Paul Black; Krista (David) White, Holly, Joshua (Caroline), Amanda and Hope Faris; Derek, Joel, Luke and Sarah Swagerman. Dear great grandfather of David and Mark White. Maple Farm was also the home of Mafar Shorthorns and Yorkshires. Murray was a longtime member of Christian Businessmen of Canada. His life verse was Prov. 3:5,6. Friends called at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford for visitation. Funeral Service was held at Springdale Christian Reformed Church, 1466 5th Sideroad, Bradford on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Bradford.

FARR - Errol and Judi (nee Spratt) announce the completion of the Farr family. With great relief and thanks to God we welcome another healthy baby into our hearts. Austin Gregory Douglas was born Thursday, October 25, 1994 at 4:59 p.m. weighing 9 lbs. 9 oz. (20 1/2 inches long). Excited sisters and brother are Alex-Andrea, Ainsley, Addison and Avery Leigh. Proud grandparents are Donald and Beverley Spratt of Bradford and Doug Farr of Toronto. We are missing Grandma Joyce Farr at this time; we know she would be very pleased with her new grandson! Great Grandmas are Doris Eagleson and Dorothy Gibson. Special thanks to Dr. Arnie Newton for his support and sense of humour that kept me going through once again a very late baby! Thank you to nurse Kathleen at York County Hospital for her wonderful care! My dear Errol thank you for your love, support and patience. Once again you saw [us?] through yet another pregnancy. We have an incredible challenge ahead of us raising our five children; but together we can do anything! All my love Judi.

Loving sister of Minnie Plenty of Toronto, Norma Kent of Lindsay, Mildred Faulkner of Coboconk and Adam Carl of Sunderland. Friends called at the Lathangue & Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Street, Bradford. Service was held in the chapel on Sunday, September 26, 1993 at 2 p.m. Interment Coboconk Cemetery. FLACH - Frank John, peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 1994, at the Holland Christian Homes, Brampton at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Trien-Flach-Horlings. Dear father of Rena Hijma and her husband Richard. He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren Catherine Jotautas, David Hijma and Donald Hijma and his great grandchildren Michael, Rebecca, Jeffrey and Gregory. Survived by his sisters Adrie Meeuwse-Flach, Wilhelmina Kopperjan-Flach, Hettie Horlings-Flach, Joan Goodhoofd-Flach of Holland and of Brampton and one older brother Dirk H. Flach, U.S. A. also numerous nephews and nieces in Canada, U.S.A. and Holland. Predeceased by brothers Gerrit Flach and Henk Flach and sisters Francina de Jong-Flach and Teuntje Flach all in Holland. Funeral services were held from the Ward Funeral Home, Brampton and a memorial service was held at Holland Christian Homes on Tuesday, July 26, 1994. Interment at Meadowvale Cemetery in Brampton. Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.

FUCHS, Gord passed away suddenly May 29th, 1994 at Harrison Springs [sic], B.C. while out fishing. He will be sadly missed by his mother Frieda, step-father John and his brother Bob. Also his two children Amanda and Ian of Barkle, Ontario. Cremation was his wish. Parksville Funeral Chapel (604) 248-4644 in charge of arrangements.

GAPP, Alma (Atkinson) passed away at Owen Sound on Monday, May 23, 1994 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Survived by her sister Inez Demerling of Owen Sound. Predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Rested in the Logan Funeral Home, 91 James Street, Owen Sound with service in the chapel Thursday May 26, at 3:30 p.m. Interment Humphrey Rosseau Union Cemetery.
