Jean Faris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murray G. Faris of Maple Farm near Bradford, has graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in human nutrition.

Susan J. Faris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murray G. Faris, Maple Farm, Bradford, graduated from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois on June 14th. With her Bachelor of Arts in English. She will be attending McArthur College of Education at Queen's University in Kingston in the fall.

Members of the Bradford chapter of the IODE celebrated the 25th anniversary of its founding on Wednesday June 12. Week-Long Celebrations will start Sunday to mark the centennial of village of Bradford. Mary Kavchak holds a cross-cut saw as she gets set to slice a giant anniversary cake. Many former Bradfordites are expected to attend.

First Bradford Brownies Pack entertained residents at Martingale Villa last week. The 25 girls sand Christmas songs and danced. The club performed on all three floors of the home, so they were pretty tuckered out by the time they finished.

Mathew Kneeshaw, the Simcoe County Board of Education Trustee, was one of the key people in the 112th graduation exercises at Bradford District High School. He presented prizes and diplomas to the graduating students, two of whom are Martha Verhaaff and Nancy Jean Burton. Martha was the junior valedictorian, and Nancy Jean gave the address for the senior class.

Waldie Crossland, president of the Bradford Lions Club has a bus time looking after the fathers of these children. Lions and their cubs gathered at a father, son and daughter supper Monday night.
