Samuel Thomas Adair (born 1856) and his wife Matilda Adair (nee Switzer, born 1861). They were married December 25, 1889. They moved to their farm on Concession 8, Lot 11, S 1/2 E 1/2 in 1921. A new home was built in 1924 on the house's original foundation.
